Camera Clinic is Australia's largest independent repair centre, servicing photographic and digital equipment and fast growing Design and Manufacturing department.
We require a full time technician to join our team.
Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the work shop manager, the technician will be expected to carry out various tasks inclusive but not limited to the following:Work predominantly in a work shop environment as part of a team
Service and repair a varied range of photographic equipment including Digital SLR's, Lenses, Flash units
Provide quotations and warranty evaluations
Responsible for ordering spare parts
Provide technical support when required
Skills Required
Certificate of basic electronics or equivalent
Strong Diagnostic and Troubleshooting skills
Ability to diagnose and repair electronic circuits to component level following circuit diagrams
Strong soldering skills
Good dexterity with fine hand tools such as tweezers
Able to communicate clearly, verbally and written
Ability to work independently
Ability to work in a team environment
Advantage
Previous history in working with Cameras and or other photographic equipment
Strong interest and knowledge in photography
PIC programming
